What can I say
about this fella, I met Antonio 4 or 5 years ago but
his reputation had certainly preceded him. He has such
a big following that when it was decided that the 2nd
room at SO? events would be Urban style, we knew exactly
whose door we would be knocking on!
Already a resident at many Urban events, such as One Nation, Garage Nation,
Sensation and Suga Suga. Antonio jumped at the chance to actually host
the Urban room at SO?.
Antonio was originally known as a UK Garage jock lists his influences
as EZ, Karl Tuffenuff Brown, Timmi Magic and Wreckless. But with time
comes change and change Antonio does, now playing a host of different
styles that include RnB, DnB, and now- watch this space; Funky house.
But his talents don't end there, Antonio is also widely known for his
diverse production skills, and these have led to numerous CD mix compilations
for Live n Loud, which are currently being sold internationally. Watch
out for Antonios first SO? compilation available soon.
If you haven't ventured into the Urban room yet, try it out. The atmosphere
that Antonio and his other residents create is certainly refreshing.
Saying that you might not make it out! |

It’s amazing
what can happen in 5 years – just ask Daryl.
Having spent most of the 90’s playing all over
the UK for nights such as Miss Moneypennies, Orange
Club, Gift From the Gods (and not forgetting his residency
at The Opera House in Bournemouth – home of Slinky),
he took a well earned sabbatical to spend more time
with his family.
But now he’s back
and quickly re-establishing himself in the house music
scene, pushing musical boundaries and not conforming
to a strict music formula. From a shiny chorus, 80’s
style electro and twisted beats, his style is purely
decadent leaving partygoers feeling they’ve had
a full evenings workout.
We snapped Daryl up as
one of our resident’s and feel privileged that
he mixed our first ever cd, entitled SO? Daryl Connor
which was produced to provide the happy clappy atmosphere
that So- Parties provide.
Having been behind the
decks with superstars such as Judge Jules, Sasha, Dave
Pearce and the unforgettable Sonique, Daryl is looking
forward to bringing his delightfully decadent style
to the masses over the coming months.

JACK 'N'
DANIELS are DJ and Producer duo, Johnny Coombes and
Danny Allsopp.
Both influenced by the
boom in the House music scene at the beginning of the
early nineties, the pair we're brought together by their
mutual love of music, and have now been spinning the
finest grooves nationwide for nearly a
decade.
During this time the duo
have graced the decks at most of the major venues in
the UK including; Ministry of Sound, The Cross, Miss
Moneypennys, Turnmills, Garage City, L'America and Pacha
to name but a few...
They have also made guest
mixes on a number of radio shows including the Slammin
Boys Show On Galaxy, Bobbi & Steve's Show On Kiss,
Judge & The Jury (Kiss 100), 1 Hour Mix On Sarah
HB's Show, Dj Profile (Kiss TV), Power FM Mix, The Beat
On MFM, Coast FM, Champion FM .
As well as guest appearances
across the UK, they can be found playing on a regular
basis at their residencies; So (monthly), Reach Lincoln
(Monthly), Kindergarten Klub (Monthly) and Sounds Heavenly
(weekly).
Whilst happy playing other
peoples records, natural progression has seen them recently
move into production to add their own distinct sound
and style to the scene.
Their first production
saw them form a collaboration with DJ/Producer Pete Doyle,
for which they're collectively known as Carousel. Entitled
'Give The People', the track epitomised their own unique
style and taste in house music and was well received
by the scene, receiving airplay on Radio 1 and spending
time in the DJ Mag Hype chart for a number of weeks.
The next production was
a sole effort, taking the classic Loleatta Holloway track
'Hit N Run', and lending to it their own unique interpretation
and style. Only just released, the track is looking to
be another hit production for boys.
With a number of
productions imminent, the pair are showing that their
ability in the production world come as naturally to
them as they're DJ'ing. |

We at So? Had heard
several good reports about Leigh and his superb ability
as a DJ, and reading a crowd. Steve and I decided to
give Leigh a chance to prove him self to us, and he didn’t
let us down!. A new member to the So? DJ Stable, we are
very much pushing this very talented DJ to the mainstream.
Leigh has only been DJing for the last 4 years mainly
as a bedroom DJ, but when you hear his Sets you would
think he had been mixing for years.
Leigh has also taken his hand to promoting
to further his DJ career himself. His “Funky Pudding” nights
attracting good crowds in Windsor , and other Bar Nights
in the area earning him a good following of loyal supporters.
We at So? Feel very glad that we have “snapped up” Leigh
as a Mainroom Resident, and hope you all enjoy his unique
style of Mixing for a long time to come.

Sublime Soul are Soulful
House Duo Nick Pavord and David Jay. The two have been
Djing together for the past 5 years, and have had the
pleasure in playing at some of the UK’s finest
clubs including: Turnmills, Funky Buddha, and most recently
as guests on Ministry of Sound Radio as well as this
they have played alongside established and well know
DJ’s such as Norman Jay, Darren Emerson and Grant
Nelson to name a few.
The two have very similar influences and tastes, which comes across in
the style of music they play.
When opening a third room at our events, Sublime Soul’s unique
style of music and selected sound suited it perfectly, where they can
perform alongside live percussion and play selected genres to suite the
night, which enhances the vibe and makes the room very individual.
Sublime Soul also have their own internet-based radio station, SSRADIOUK.COM,
wher e they have house music streaming 24/7, Sublime Soul have their
own show every Sunday between the hours of 15.00 & 18.00 GMT. Another
feature to their room, is that on selected months Sublime Soul, broadcast
LIVE to listening audiences across the globe.
Continuing to build on what they have already achieved the future promises
a few other treats, such as some larger scale events under the Soul Blessing
name and working on new music material in the studio with Jazz & House
based producers.
